OBDII-Y-Cables
An OBD-II cable is a cable that connects a vehicle’s OBD-II port to a host device, such as a Dash-Cam, GPS Tracker. OBD-II stands for On-Board Diagnostics II, and it’s a system that allows access to a vehicle’s diagnostic information. Plugs into the vehicle’s 16-pin OBD-II port. Can be used with 12V or 24V OBD sockets
Airfuel/ECU/EFI
An “AIR Fuel cable” refers to a cable specifically designed to connect to an air-fuel ratio sensor in a vehicle, allowing a diagnostic tool or performance monitoring system to read the current air-to-fuel mixture being burned in the engine, essentially providing data on how much air is mixed with the fuel during combustion.
An “ECU cable” refers to a specialized cable used to connect an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in a vehicle to a diagnostic tool or computer, allowing technicians to access and modify the ECU’s settings, read fault codes, or perform other maintenance tasks related to the vehicle’s electronic systems; essentially, it’s the cable that enables communication with the car’s “brain.”.
Key points about ECU cables:
Connectors: These cables have specific connectors on one end that plug directly into the ECU, while the other end typically connects to a diagnostic tool or computer via a standard interface like USB.
Variety of types: Depending on the vehicle make and model, different types of ECU cables may be needed, as different communication protocols are used.
An “EFI cable” refers to a specialized cable used to connect a computer or diagnostic tool to an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system in a vehicle, allowing technicians to access and adjust engine parameters like fuel delivery and ignition timing by communicating with the engine control unit (ECU) through this cable; essentially, it’s a data cable designed specifically for EFI systems.
EV Harnesses
An electric vehicle (EV) wiring harness is a system of cables and connectors that sends power and data throughout the vehicle. It’s also known as a cable harness or wiring loom.
Lighting Harnesses
It is a pre-assembled set of wires, connectors, and sometimes switches, designed specifically to connect power lighting fixtures like LED light bars or headlights, essentially acting as a dedicated wiring system for lighting components within a vehicle or other application, simplifying installation by providing a single point of connection to the vehicle’s electrical system.
